Soaps
today have many ingredients and additives only a chemist
can understand.
A
lot of the synthetic ingredients, such as artificial fragrances,
DEA, FD&C Colors, Isopropyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, can
be toxic and cause severe skin irritation in some people.
To
improve skin health, it's important to carefully review
the ingredients in the soap you're using, and try to avoid
products that are synthetic. If you're not sure, ask questions.
We understand a natural product being as close to its original
form as possible. It's up to our knowledge, skill and creativity
to produce a perfectly balanced natural bar of soap, that
is both luxurious, and good for you and also good for the
environment.

Did you know that
60% of whatever comes in contact with your skin is assimilated
into your system? Goat's milk is a natural moisturizer that
is high in proteins, minerals and vitamins, that are readily
absorbed into the skin. Goat's milk has been used in bathing
and in beauty rituals for centuries.
Cleopatra was famous for her beautiful complexion, and one
of her known beauty secrets was to bath in goat's milk.
To maximize this effect, each of our bars has at least an
ounce of goat's milk in it. We ensure the milk's freshness
by purchasing it directly from a local farm.

Glycerin is a humectant, which attracts moisture, which
in turn moisturizes the skin. Soap without glycerin dries
the skin. Glycerin is a natural by-product of the soapmaking
process called saponification. Most commercial soap manufacturers
remove it to sell it to the cosmetic and other industries.
Unlike mass-produced soaps, our handcrafted cold process
soap retain all of the naturally formed glycerin in perfect
proportion.
Our
soap is not made with store-bought chemically-separated
glycerin, and therefore doesn't dissolve after few uses.
People with such skin conditions as eczema and psoriasis,
as well as people that have sensitive skin, often find immediate
help by switching to handmade milk soaps. We believe that
using, as we'd like to call it "a perfect bar of soap" can
make a difference to your skin, and therefore to your health.
